MODEL I PHOTOGRAPHER I ENTREPRENEUR
Melissa Core is a woman of many talents: as well as her numerous public-facing roles as a model, choreographer and actress, she has a killer set of behind-the-scenes skills and serious business savvy.
As a photographer, Melissa has shot some of the music industry’s biggest names. She’s also established several successful companies and brands - for both herself and others - and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon!
Photography & Styling is another of Rick's talents.
Rick has photographed a multitude of influential people for an iconic coffee table book to be released later in 2016;
such people as, Jimmy Buffett, Lyle Lovett, Reba McEntire, Emmy Lou Harris, Steve Earl, Don Was, George Strait, Bernie Taupin, Bill Carter and Trisha Yearwood, just to name a few. His portfolio also includes shooting for several bikini lines, portraits, marketing shots and even concert photography.
MODELLING
Modelling and dancing is where it all began. As the face of some of the biggest swimwear, lingerie and hair companies in the world, Melissa has a wealth of experience in presenting the best image possible, and a strong instinct for quality, style and fit.
Having worn literally hundreds of swimsuits on shoots means Melissa knows what works and what doesn’t. And now with Caballo Swim, you can benefit from her expert eye.
ACTING
Melissa has appeared in numerous music videos for the likes of Eric Church, The Band Perry, Ne-Yo (ft. Pitbull) and Escape the Fate.
Her acting credits also include movies - notably ‘The Internship’ with Vince Vaughn - and several commercials, such as Toyota (USA and Canada).
ENTREPRENEUR
As a creative soul with many strings to her bow and a can-do attitude, it’s little surprise that Melissa Core is also an entrepreneur.
Never one to let anybody tell her she can’t do something, Melissa founded Dead Horse Branding, along with partner Rick Caballo, after being unable to find one company to centrally handle PR, design, marketing, photography and all the other aspects needed to build a strong brand. Melissa and Rick initially started the brand to support their rock fashion label Corello, and others quickly came on board.
Having been the face of many brands and running several businesses herself, Melissa’s wealth of expertise ranges from launching start-ups to rebranding established companies, and everything in between.
Caballo Swim is her latest initiative.
